Susan died on April 9, 2024 which was her birthday. She worked as a social worker for over 30 years with the State Of Michigan. Susan left our class in her Junior Year.
She loved cats so much that she and her husband Tom eventually started trapping & realeasing cats and having cat's spray or neutering from in-overpopulated areas to least populated areas..
She enjoyed being a Vincentian for the St. De Paul Society Catholic Church around Pontiac and Waterford.
Where she spend hours helping people in need typically work in pairs to conduct home visits in need to assets their situation and provide direct assistance like food, rent, utility help or emotional support.
Susan and Tom came many years to our Pre-Woodward Dream Cruise Parties. Susan also would come to our Girls the Class of 62 Luncheons.
Susan did a lot of Charitable work around Pontiac and Waterford. I am sure God rewarded you for everything you did. Rest In Peace!

I remember Susan and her brother from Brooklands Elementry School. They lived in the Brookland Sub division and we were close friends. Richard was a very good baseball player and was going to study to become a priest. as fate would have it that some how fell through. Susan was a quiet unassuming girl, but was nice to be around. I dropped out of school soon after my mother died and then joined the Navy and was never able to re-connect with Susan and her brother. I was glad to learn from Mary Jo's comments of what a wonderful kind person that Susan turned out to be. As all death "so sad" to have learn of her fate. May God rest her soul ontil we meet again in Glory. Dave
