I just heard today 9/28/20 Cathy passed away from COVID 17. I talked to her son tonight and he told me that she went to the Crittention Hospital on Saturday..
Cathy would try to make it to our Girls Class of 62 luncheon at least once a year. Us girls will all miss her friend face at the luncheons.
Cathy and I were friends from Jr. Hi through H.S . and beyond. I am so saddened by this news. Fond memories of us walking home from school singing-being on the '62 Falcon yearboook staff when she was editor- being in Mr. Irish's choirs, and even seeing her a couple times later in life. My heartfelt condolences to Jim and her family. Marcia
I will miss Kathy, it didn't matter how many years past between our meeting, she always greeted me with a hug and a wonderful smile, I will miss her. My prayers to her friends and family.
I remember Catherine only from Junior High. I believe we were in choir and civic class together back in the day. She was always friendly, kind and always had a nice smile. I'll miss her as I miss all my fellow class mates living or dead and I will pray for the repose of her soul. Dave D.
Today there was a memory service for Cathy at Mount Avon cemetery. The tribute was put on by the Macomb Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. One of her passions was genealogy. She loved helping people research their family lines. There was around 50 people at the tribute to Cathy today. I like to thank Joan Norton who let me know of the tribute today.

I remember Cathy has a student in Juniior High when I was teaching and she was a wonderful
and bright young lady. Later she worked for me as a secretary at Oakland University where she
again was bright and exceptional. I am sorry to learn of her passing and my thoughts are with her family.
