Don and I rode the bus together for years. We'd sit in the back and talk and get harassed by the bus driver. We played basketball together at the Goodison School gym one night a week for a while with Dave MacDonald (the star player) and some of the other Goodison guys. At the 20th reunion he said he was writing advertising in Detroit. He'd started out doing advertising art and moved on writing copy. RIP Big Don.

My memory have become a bit foggy as I grow older, but I remember Don as good guy and was never bad to anyone. Ditto Gary, RIP Don.
