Mary lived down the hill from me. We attended Baldwin school together from grades 1 thru 6. She was last of a large family and was usually with her one-year-older sister, Shirley. They had an older brother, Dede, (Donald, maybe?) who thought he had an operatic tenor voice. Periodically he cut loose with a high note at full volumn and get the attention of the whole neighborhood.
